In some point you're right, but they could be also prestige .. The car is also transportation tool, but having the newest Mercedes benz is prestige ..
The Amex Centurion card is by far their most prestigious because it is almost impossible to get and it is certainly geared for the affluent traveler/spender. It cost 2,500 and is by invitation only.
