My wife converted her card from a MC to Visa, then combined that way......that was the way CS said to do it

I was interested in the Stockback Platinum since it's inception. Originally, I could not product transfer from the regular Chase Platinum, only apply for a new line of credit which I did not want to do. That is when I transferred to the Chase Shell Platinum which was eventually converted to the Freedom card when Shell chose Citibank as their provider.
Although the rebate was great, I still wanted the Stockback card. I called customer service and they converted it without a problem. My interest rate is 11.74%. However, they gave me the new account introductory rate of 2.9% for purchases and balance transfers for six months.

I will work on the interest rate when the promo period ends. There was a post recently (matty?) from another Stockback member who had an interest rate of 6%-7%?

With your FICO scores, I believe you should have a better APR. Maybe ask for the Executive Offices? Also, a Planetfeedback letter may be in order.
I'm sorry to hear the Special Pricing dept. could not help you. Good luck and keep us posted.
