Hey when I get my credit report, I noticed 3 to 4 inquiries from the credit bureau themselves, all on the same day, what kind of inquiry is that? I think only one of my reports so far says two different kinds of inquiries shown, one seen by others and one seen by me. All the other credit reporting agencies have them lumped together. When I say all the others, I am not only talking about the big three but their local yocal affiliates that are used where I live which I am also disputing. Just a note on that, the affiliates have some different things reporting on me than their parent company, what does a person have to do? Find every local credit reporting agency and pull a report?
Any inquiry made by you or the credit bureau is considered a soft inquiry, which does not affect your score. Experian and TU separate soft inq's from hard inq's, Equifax lumps them together, but places PRM, AR, AM in front of the soft inq's so you can see which are which.
