I sent an ITS letter to a registered agent for Citifinancial. They pulled my credit report w/o my permission and can't provide me with proof of PP. I have sent request's for proof of PP since July with no response until now. I got a letter back from a paralegal with citifinancial that says, Sorry you didn't receive a response to your previous letters. We will investigate your request and get back to you in 30 days. WTF!!! In the ITS letter I told them if they want to settle this they have 10 days from the receipt of my letter. Well they got my letter on 12-8. Why would they send a letter like this when my letter clearly stated that I will file suit against them if I hadn't heard fromt hem within 10 days, why do they think I would wait another 30 after not hearing anything back on this since JULY!!! I am filing suit anyway, I feel I have given them ample time. Damn near six months! Do I respond to the letter or just file the lawsuit?
Re: Re: What kind of reply is this??? They are probably trying to buy time. My question though: Was this credit inquiry in regards to collections or an open account you have with them? I think they'd have PP to pull your CR.
Re: Re: Re: What kind of reply is this??? No it isn't a collection. Never had an account with them. That is why I sent an Intent to Sue letter for NO permissible purpose.
