Well Guys I sent a procedure request to EXP and all they sent in return was this BS letter that says: [blue]When you question information on your personal credit report tell us specifically why you believe the infoemation is inaccurate or incomplete, we contact the source of the information directly by telephone, letter, or through an automated verification system. We ask the source to check their records to verify all of the information regarding the item you questioned, and report back within 30 days of the date we received your request.[/blue] To me this does not seem to meet the criteria for a procedure request. This response is not a description of the procedures used in my case, it seems more to be a generic description of an investigation. Aren't they required to be more specific. I know that they did not investigate because a certain TL could not have possibly been verified. This BS letter seems to be their way of covering there illegal practices. anyway the real question is...What do I do now? 1 I never sent validation letters to the CAs. Should I do that next and see who can actually validated? 2 Is their a stricter letter I should send off to EXP demanding deletion since they did not meet the law with the procedure request? 3 And BTW what is the law for a procedure request. Can someone please point me to the section of the FCRA that pertains to the requirments a CRA must meet for a procedure request? Please help... Thanks for all the help..Creditnet has been the best
