They approved me for the 2K limit. I'm happy with that. I've never had a AMEX card before. 2K will do well for my ratios. I'll pay for things I normally do with cash each month to use the 0% interest so I can build a history with them then in 6 months, ask for an increase.

HEAVY price to pay for that inquiry from AMEX. Went from 715 to 697. I hope time does away with that or I'll keep pulling my EQ report 10 times a day until it disappears.

Don't like the fixed 14.99 interest. I won't really use this card to much though.

Just a suggestion, Equifax is the only CRA that will still allow you to dispute an inquiry. I'm not endorsing circumventing the system, but...

How can a CRA refuse to remove a legitimate unauthorized inq.

Mom, when I got my Gold Delta Skymiles in May, they gave me a cl of $10,000. BTW, I don't know if it is too soon to apply for another Amex, but my b-day is Thursday and I'm thinking of applying for Blue as a present to myself. Do you think it's too soon?

    LKH,

I really want you to get another Amex for your birthday, but I think it's too soon. They gave you your maximum few months ago. Of course they will approve you for Blue, but they will tell you in order to open it you have to give up some $$$ from your Delta account. That's what they do.
