What should go? I started building credit about 9 month ago with a Plains Commerce Bank Visa (350$ limit) and shortly after that (7 month ago) with a partly secured FNBM Visa card (260$). 2 month ago I managed to get a Orchard Bank (Household) MasterCard with 500$ limit. Suddenly my bank (BoA) offered me a VISA card (said before that, that I did not qualify and that I would need to have 1 year history before they would consider). I took it and got a limit of 3500$ on it. A week ago Providan offered me a Paypal Visa with 1000$ limit. I wonder if I should take the Providian? Also now that I have BoA and Household I will closed my FNBM card (get the deposit back) but I am unsure about the Plains Visa because it has 9 month history. If I close it will that not damage my score because the longest I have than cards is 2 month (BoA/Orchard) or will the fact that I closed it not harm me? I think I read here that the low limit is actually harming my score. The other question is if I should get ride of the Orchard and only have the BoA and Providian one (if I take it) and so have only 2 cards with good limits and not low limit cards. I would appreciate some feedback/advise from you folks here on the board as you have such a wealth of experience. Thanks
