Yes there are lots more changes needed: here are some.
1-It's outrages spending weeks and months getting errors corrected while we suffer the consequences in the meantime.
The time that they have to correct errors should be 15 days Max.
This can be done by fax,E-Mail or phone.and would serve as proof just the same as crr snail mail.
The process should be as follows. We dispute the item with the cra.creditor ,ca etc.
Immediately upon receipt of our complaint the Neg. Info.must be deleted or corrected.and they have up to 15 days to to prove that our complaint is wrong or it can't be changed.

2-Regarding reinsertion of neg.info.They must notify us 5 days before such reinsertion not 5 days after the fact.

3-they should be required to pay us $5.00 for every
    error on our report.

If they violate any thing in these 3 areas they should have to pay us 25dollars for each violation and a fine to the Gov.

Maybe if they had to pay fines and damages it would make them scrutinize for errors in order to protect their bottm line:

Credit report errors need to be attacked on two fronts with new rules.

1=Set up a system of reward and punishment to reduce the No.of errors being reported to prevent them ever reaching our reports in the first place.
THE GOAL here should be a 1% error rate

2=Implement a quicker more efficient method to correct errors that do wind up on the reports.
