I have a situation where EX is still showing a debt which was originally assigned to Gulfstate. When i disputed in past they come back as my account and account has been trans sold, which was GulfState. I've gotten Gulfstate to remove their tradelines off and i have letters. So i sent EX the letter which referenced Gulfstate was deleting the item and it referenced the OC. EX received my letter(sent crrr) it still hasn't been removed or anything reflecting on my report.

Oh forogt to say it wouldn't let me dispute the account again , had to send in letter which is why i mailed the letter. Today i called and the first thing this rep states is the system is down but if you have something general i can help you!!! So i tell her, we go round and round but she cant help because system down. Then she all of a sudden ask for my social and now she begins to assist(not saying the system is up or anything) She tells me they can't accept this letter from Gulfstate for removal of the debt. It has to come from the OC. I told her everytime i dispute the OC states its trans or sold to gulfstate, and now gulfstate is removed it so should you. No, she goes on and on and on. I told had the FCRA handy and told her i followed the law and started bullshiting her.

I followed procedure, OC tells me to call the CA, I called CA they gave me a letter to removed debt, i now contact the CRA to remove it and you tell me the procedures are wrong, the FCRA is wrong.. She was so frustrated and hissing, She said fine, i sent a dispute to the OC stating the consumer indicates the debt is sold to Gulfstate, and you'll hear from us in 30 days...She had attitude when the call ended. OK now what's going to happen is the OC will verify again that it was sold to Gulfstate. I have the letter showing Gulfstate removed what should i do for an encore to get it off????
