    Here is the situation...

I have a 60-day late pay on my credit reports from MBNA. The account is paid off and closed. I have disputed it 3 or 4 times and it keeps comming back as verified. What should be my next step to get this sucker off? If I do, I will only have 1 30 day left on all my credit reports.

    Litigious Nutcase letter candidate.

Do a search on "nutcase" there are 3 or 4 versions I have seen that may work for you.

    Hey Illini...just curious...

Did you have some "offline" agreement with MBNA to pay them off for that late to be dropped? Any documentation? ...all this for your future lawsuit.

If the CRA is "saying" they have verified, then try the creditor/lender route also.

As suggested, do the "litigious nutcase" thing or ask for procedures...

    TIA,

    Ted

I had no agreement, I just paid them off. Has anyone had any luck with this "nutcase" letter?
