I thought I would try attacking this $533 charge off from 11/2000. I PFB ed Cap 1 last night and recieved an email today From Mr. Miller to call him. It was a little late when I woke up today but I left a message with his voice mail. That is the bummer working graveyard.

has anyone delt with this guy?

I e-mailed PFB several days ago and also got Mr. Miller. Unfortunately, he wasn't willing to do anything more than correct the erroneous information. As of today, he hasn't even done that.

I have CapOne on several reporting violations. I've been trying to get the erroneous information corrected for over 3 months. I'm fed up and filing suit on Tuesday unless they delete.

Hope your experience with Mr. Miller is better.

I always thought Miller was Cookes assistant. They may be equals tho.

I'd try agin and ask for Mr. Cooke, if it were me.

    :)

I am not that uneasy about dealling with Mr. Miller. From my search here it seems as thought Mr. miller was also "the man" but was lying low or something.

I dealt with Mr. Miller last week. While I did not get what I wanted from him (cl inc) he explained what their policies were and what to do at that point and he was not a jerk about it. He asked if I had an emergency and mentioned that an exception could be made in that case. I told him it wasn't necessary, I'm just working on rebuilding credit, especially now that I have learned to keep lots of cash in the bank. (Even though my bank's int rates SUCK!) He told me to check back in a few months and more than likely they would be able to give me an inc.

I thought he was very professional and made sure to send a compliment to Cap1 to let them know I appreciated his professional attitude. I think you will find working with him to be alright.
