Any advice gratefully appreciated, in advance. All my derogatory credit is in the form of UNPAID CHARGE OFFS,all unsecured credit cards only, that are all dated about 6/97. The sol in fl is 4 yrs. how do I go about getting these off? Do I... 1st dispute with the cras or.... do I attempt validation with the CA/CREDITOR ....and then dispute with the CRA when I get my CA green card? "the get out of the 500 club fast theory" I have not "used" any credit since my unfortunate family situation in 96/97 and DIDNOT BK. My only GOOD current credit is my green AMX and my mortgages. I have to move soon and will need another mortage and my FICO is sitting about 585 what strategy do I need to Clean up my report fast...or can I? The more I read the more stagnant I become. Any suggetions ?
try searching for the nutcase letter and using that on paid collections. I would try disputing this with cra's first and see who verifies. since they are paid, you may be in luck.
The quickest way to remove them is to dispute with the cra's and hope they don't verify. That is what I would do 1st. If they verify(some will, some won't), then send out the validation letters, to those that verify.
