Most interesting convo w/ Trans Union. Seems NOW they can't re-set your password/secret question. Yes, the one THEY require for you to be able to file a dispute online. You have to ask it be reset ONLINE, which of course takes an "average" of 24 to 48 business hrs. I called three numbers, spoke to three reps and the same answer...Trans Union is not re-setting or verifying passord/question information. One rep even gave me a number that redirects you to another number that costs $9.00 to use. This is the stuff that ticks me off. They ask you for your social, your phone number, your address, YOUR LIFE's INFO and they can't reset a fricking PASSWORD????? This is just wrong. Isn't there ANYTHING that can be done about this foolishness? My least fav. of the big 3 changes DAILY, and I do mean DAILY!!
You are not an important customer. You are just the subject of the data they sell to their real customers. Consumers are basically just a nuisance, with all that compliance stuff they bring with every contact. They are a cost center, not a profit center.
