What the Heck does this mean?

    My daughter applied for a Blue Amex for students. This was the card suggested to me a while back to get her started.

    On the status page it says -

    Your application has been decisioned. You will receive confirmation by mail within 7-10 days.

    Does that mean no?

    It means the English language has been abused yet again.

    "Decisioned"???

    My son applied online, didn't get approval instantly, came in the mail.

    LOL - I was thinking the same thing. Did your son have any credit history?

    Sounds more like a definite, absolute MAYBE to me.

    Maybe the response is a test to determine if the applicant really is a student...

    Maybe if they write via mail with a gramatically correct version of the response, the account is approved. ;)
