I have been using Privacy guard and today when I pulled my report my score had dropped 3 points. I have nothing new put on my reports, no new inquiries. What prompted the drop?? Nothing changed on the reports???

Welcome to the totally bizzarro world of modeling software.

First, PG's score is not your FICO score and can be very far off - see my sig for the latest deltas. Although my fako (that's what someone called it, I like it) scores are lower than my FICOs, some people find it's reversed.

You can do absolutely nothing at all and your score will change because something in the model has changed. For example, and this is bogus, suppose they crunch the latest data and find out that people who refinance their homes more than twice are more likely to go BK. Say you've refinanced for the third time just a few months ago, very possible since interest rates have fallen a lot. Initially, your score might have gone down and then risen to a steady point. Then they find this new data set in their model and your score drops 25 points.

I don't think PG's fako is that sophisticated, but I suspect they are changing the algorithms from time to time. So your data may remain the same and you will fluctuate.

I agree I pull my report from PG a few times a week and everytime my report my score goes down at least one point? I haven't had anything change on my reports for over 3 months!!! I thought if you pulled your report yourself, the score wouldn't go down!!
