That's probably the reason. Gotta keep it about 70% available.

I had a BIG "HIT" when I paid off $30,000 in credit cards in one month...

Some have a increase in score when they APPLY for a credit card...

You can have a "BADDIE" removed and LOSE points...

YOU NEVER KNOW HOW THE RNG WILL ACT!!!

I wish the damn CRA's would get their wording straight. CHARGE used to mean OPEN (non-revolving, Diners or Amex, and in the old days, gas company cards that were due in full every month). Now CHARGE and REVOLVING can be the same.

My score's taking a hit (I recently found out) because Morgan Stanley is reporting a HE-LOC as REVOLVING without coding it as MORTGAGE. When I got a look at a 3-in-1 RMCR the totals were all whacked - my housing #s only included the 1st mortgage, while the revolving #s included the HE-LOC. Apparently FICO didn't like $140k in revolving debt (with a 150k limit!). Talk about a ratio buster!

Vigilence ... go through your reports with a fine tooth comb!
