What to do after non validation

I have sent certified letters to both original creditors and third party ones. These accounts appeared on my report but are not mine. I have heard from 1 out of 13. No others have even responded and it has been 40 days. What do I do now. Is there something I can send them to have this junk pulled from my report. What can I hold them to legally? One even told me they simply find a name and a close address and stick it on there. Then they leave it to the consumer to straighten it out. What a joke.

I just didn't know what to do after a non-validation.

Have you tried disputing via the 3 credit reporting agencies? Sometimes that is all it takes. I disputed a collection account as "not mine" and it wasn't verified so it was removed. Being the collection agencies aren't validating those accounts try disputing them and see if the 30 days goes by without verification. Then they will be removed.

The bigger question is if they do validate what now?

But isn't that what he wanted anyways, validation from them? Therefore my assumption (correct me if I"m wrong) would be he should see if he can go thru the credit bureaus 1st to have it removed. Don't you normally pursue the credit bureaus first? Then if it is verified then you would seek validation from the collection agencies? That would be my course of action.

Well would you prefer they proved you owe it instead?

1*Nope: The last thing he wants them to do is VALIDATE!
2*Wrong order.Step 1 Send validation to CA .Step 2 Dispute with CRA after getting green card back.
If CA verifies with CRA before validating with you you have the CA on their first $1000 violation. If CA fails to note as DISPUTED you have the CA on a second $1000 violation.
If the CRA don't mark in dispute you have the CRA on a $1000 violation. At this point they have racked up $3000 in violations.
3*And loose this chance to rack up these violations,no way!
    4*Wrong course as explained in 2 & 3.

HMMM.....I disputed via the CRA first. They couldn't verify it so I got it removed totally. That is all I wanted.

Now, when I saw the collection (paid collection) my assumption was why would I need validation if it is paid in full so I disputed via the CRA first. I knew it was my collection account and I remembered paying it off and I just wanted it removed.

So, you seek validation even if it's a paid collection?
