A few years ago I ran into some financial trouble. I had to go cold-turkey on all my credit cards. It has been 3+ years since I have done anything on them. My credit score is now good and I am financially stable. Is there anyway to try to settle these debts or do I just need to let them find me and then work it out. I have no idea where the debts are now

Anyone EVER contact you about any of the debts in 3+ years?? How close are you to your state's SOL?

Paying them may actually decrease your scores.

There was a message left for me on my phone but I did not return because there was no other information but to return the call because it was about my personal financial history. No telling who placed it so I did not return the call. I have heard about State SOL but I could not find anything on the internet about it maybe I just dont know where to look. Can you advise??
