Very strange thing happened to me. I applied for credit with Zales to purchase my fiance an engagement ring. My FICO is about 680. I was turned down!!!! due to a prior repossession of an engagement ring I purchased for a young lady when I was 21, which is 25 yrs ago. I check all 3 Cra's and nothing about it shows up. How the heck did they know about it????? do they get to see some different credit report than you or I do?
