Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What would you do at this stage? I agree that we should all fight back. I attempted to "play the CRA's game" but I gave up fairly quickly. I guess I had no fight in me. I could see that it was pointless for me to pursue a amicable solution - they wanted me to pay $300-400 a month and I wanted to pay less than half of that. Then they hung up on me which I considered extremely rude. Shortly after that I moved (not to avoid them, of course) and as it turned out I didn't hear from most of my creditors again. I am glad the 7 year law is in place to give people like me a 2nd chance. I have learned a lot and I don't intend to go into debt again. But I acknowledge your past troubles with them and I hope it can be resolved for you. I also realize it can easily happen to me
