Got a {Computer Print out} from a local plumbing heating and electrical Co. dunning me for $128.87 today 12-21-3 for an $84.95 invoice dated back on 12-20-99. Wouldn't the SOL be up on this? 12-20-199 to 12-20-2003 is 4 years. >------------>> LB59
*** From WHY CHAT'S Site OHIO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS (IN YEARS) 1*Open Acct.: 4 3*Sales Contract (UCC2-725) 6 4*Written Contract: 15 What are sales slips or invoices considered as? I know it don't fit 3 or 4, but what about #1 - that doesn't seem like a match either? >------------>> LB59 I know sol is based from date of last payment but in this case there were never any payments so when does the sol clock start ticking?
Did you have charging privileges there, or was it a one shot deal? I thought SOL was DOLA, which would be the date it was charged.
Re: Re: What Would You Do with IT? According to the computer print out It was a one shot deal for one $ 84.95 invoice dated back on 12-20-99. I think you are right so Sol started ticking on 12-20-1999. ********The remaining question is >--------->>What type of debt are sales slips or invoices considered as?

Re: Re: Re: What Would You Do with IT? ok Then what is the SOL if you did sign and what is the SOL if you did not sign? This is what I'm trying to find out concerning sales slips.

One unsigned invoice or sales slip for plumbing parts purchased in store. I'm thinking the OHIO Sol on this woud be 4 years but would like to be sure I am correct about it.
