January 2008 to September 2008 Equifax - from 482 to 642 Experian - from 534 to 707 TransUnion - from 524 to 753 I successfully utilized the suggestions from this forum to remove negative items through Pay by Deletion; removal of aged out accounts (over 7 years - TransUnion had a lot!); and paying down balances and paying on time every time. The verification letter took care of a few slow pays but not many. I guess I have some very diligent creditors. The only tool I utilized that has zero affect was the Goodwill Letter. The poor activity was too recent and the forum warned that the Goodwill may not work if you do not have some type of decent pay history. I did not expect it to work but I left no stone unturned.
