Hi! Do you know by any chance if current Sterling plans on transferring their credit card accounts to a different bank? How would this appear on a credit report. Would that mean there'd be one listing under closed accounts for Sterling Bank and one new listing for the new bank. I'm corn-fused. It seems in that case that we would be starting all over from day one? How would this affect credit scores? Any help would be appreciated. :--0---)
Rumors have been around that they are going to close their credit card operations and sell the portfolio to some other bank. Nothing specific as of yet according to the CS weenie.
