I just got the freecreditprofile.com report from TU. There is only one derog, and I want to start disputing. Should I do so online or do the old "snail-mail" CRRR?
I just started the dispute, Wish me luck. How soon after I start should I expect to see the "disputed" annotation on the account?
In early March, I "on-line" disputed two AMEX accounts as "This is not my account" successfully and they were deleted. I was an AU on my ex's accounts, only charged <$100 and long since paid, and I had a letter from AMEX asking each CRA to delete the AMEX entries from my credit reports. EQF and EXP did but TU did not - at the time.
