Unless you are willing to pay 200 to 300% APR for interest NONE OF THEM. Payday loans are a really, really bad idea.
Ditto what Hal said. I strongly urge you not to get involved-modern day loan sharking bordering on Usery.
They all charge the same price....the maximum in your state....so any should be about the same. They are all terrible, and should be used only as a VERY last resort. Try getting a secured Capital One card...it will help you in the long run, and save you money.. jmart
Payday loans are also modern day pimping...You are being prostituted out there to pay them back an when you do, you are in a situation that's worse than it was before...As we have all noted....DON'T DO IT!!
If you REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY need to use this option, at least shop for one that charges no fees for first time customers.
I have shared my experience with payday loans on here before, but to make a long story short, DON"T DO IT!!!!!! It is robbery and once you get suckered in, it will be a relentless cycle that you can not break!!! Ask relatives for a loan, get a second job, whatever you have to do, but please don't use these companies!! they are actually trying to get them outlawed in my state!
I think there is something better. If you have a friend or family member who is willing to lend you the money, it is always preferable. I like the website www.circlelending.com; they have a great set up for this type of loan.
Use them only if it is your absolute last resort. Even if your kids are starving I would suggest a food bank before resorting to this. However if you must...be warned that it is very easy to turn into a vicious cycle. I have an old friend who is in debt up to her eyeballs with no hope of getting out any time soon. They do all charge the same amount. The only difference I know of is some places will go 30 days if you only get paid once a month (Social Security and some government offices etc..). CheckNGo does this and it is a major chain. Also, be warned if you are even 1/2 a day late they will harass you to no end. I know of one case where they showed up at her work and made it quite clear what they were there for. Other than that I would probably suggest you stick to the big chains as they are more like to follow the "rules" of the trade. I hope things look up for you financially so you don't have to resort to these loan sharks
I thought I would find a "payday advance sucks" type of website to refer him to. Do you know I could not find a single one. Even consumeraffairs.com didn't have any for these places. I checked under as many names as I could think of. I can't believe nobody has started a site to warn people about these places.
I have a personal saying that goes a bit like this: "If more than two people tell you the same thing, they all can't be wrong!!!"
Best payday loan Note: I am a spammer. I was banned by CCN Steve who also deleted my original message and replaced it with this note. Please heed Hedwig's excellent warning regarding people like me (below). Thank you.
Best payday loan I replied on your other post with actual numbers, but will run the same math on the different numbers you have here. ONLY 5% per week is 260% per year. Go to McDonald's or 7-11 and get a second job. Invest your money in a savings account at 1% until you need it and you'll be 261% ahead!
Best payday loan "Don't posts like this usually get deleted pretty quickly?" First we have to extract the entertainment value.
Best payday loan That's true. Anyone who thinks that an interest rate over 200% is a good deal is probably a great entertainer. Also, posts are not deleted at this site like they are at some others. In my opinion, it's good to leave posts like this so that people can learn some of the true facts of life. As you can see, the poster's remarks have been removed, but anyone who had seen the thread can now see the feedback, which is impossible if a thread is simply deleted.
