What's the deal with TU?

My score from TU is so much lower than the 2 others, yet all of the info is the same. What gives?
Which is the most "accurate"? What I mean is, whose scoring model is the best? My TU score is 50 points lower than Equifax and 100 points lower than Experian! I've read a lot of posts to get a feel for it, but I am still so green.
    Thanks!

TU is not F.I.C.O. (unless you paid for a F.I.C.O. score)

    Thanks, George....
bear w/me. What I did was went to the Transunion site and I was eligible for a free credit report because of the state I live in...I paid the extra$3.00 to get what I thought was the score. Was that not it?
I've seen people put FAKO score...I am confused! I'll go to the glossary again!

Transunion has two scores. The FAKO, which is their own number, and the FICO, which is a true FICO using a Fair and Isaacs model.

When you go to their website -

"Transunion Personal Credit Report and Score" = FAKO (minimum price free + $3.75 for score)

"Transunion Credit Profile plus FICO score = FICO
(you also have to pay $12.95 for this one - no freebie)

    Thanks, Jlynn...
do you find the FICO TU score to be higher than their own scoring model? It seems odd that it is sooo much lower, when all 3 have the exact same info.

I'm too cheap to buy mine! I'm using the FAKO score has a gauge to watch my progress. I figure once I'm finished, then I'll shell out the $12.95.

It isn't odd when you consider that the fako uses only a handful of the more than 50 different types of info that fico uses to compute a score. My fako is over 100 pts lower than my real fico.

I guess I'll wait a bit and shell out the $$$ and see what it says...what about the Experian score, then?
    Is it accurate?

Considering all scores are derrived from the uncontrolled rumor mill that has a 70% error rate do you really think that any score is accurate?

TU FAKO is absolute, 100% nonsense as are the reasons provided for the score.
