Could somebody please explain the difference between an authorized user and joint account. (If it helps, my name is listed under my mother's on the card). The CA said that I was an authorized user and I am responsible for my mothers acct. Any truth to this? BR
An authorized user can use the account but is not responsible for payment. In a joint account, both can use and both are responsible for payment.
