my ex and equ scores are around 630. however my tuc is 486. i have had 4 chargeoffs deleted from those two. however with tuc they all verified the debt and it remains.

What option is left with Tuc. Since they have all verified?

That is a more complex question than can be derived from your post.

Please post detail of the accounts left on TU such as DOLA, Derog posted by CA/OC, How long has this account been reported, State you are in, State CA/OC is in, amount of debt, type of derog judgement/CA account/TaxLien, type of debt, etc...

Those types of answers are needed to help us determine what types of actions or options you have open to you.

Ok this is more Doc's and Quixote's area, maybe they can help. Dealing with original creditors is an art form best left to the artists :)

You MIGHT get results from sending the OC's an FCRA violation phrased validation letter, some people have gotten success with OC's deleting after receiving CO accounts with an OC validation letter

See the FAQ section on dealing with an OC.

That last comment you made about the "beneficial" listing...are you referring to the CapitalOne account? Paid as agreed is not necessarily beneficial...paid/never late would be a positive listing, but simply paid as agreed is not necessarily so.

Sorry I am not of much help here. I have little experience with OC's and CO's...I am sure there are those who can help here though...they will chime in.

I can tell you from experience citibank is about impossible to get off your credit report. they have responded with nasty little letters to everything I have sent in. You could cut the sarcasm with a knife. This worked for me with TU but I do not know if it will work for you. I started last year and disputed pretty much everything negative. I had maybe 25% or so(if I can remember that far back) fall off. Then like 4 months later I disputed again and a couple more fell off. I dispute like every 3 months since then. Sometime they fall off and sometimes they do not. Now a year later the only negative thing left on my report is a settled cc from like 4-5 years ago. It is citibank. I have another citibank on it from a paid chargeoff from the same time that is unrated but still seems to count against me. Other than that I have eliminated everything negative and believe me there was a ton.

    7/18/2002--663 (2 deleted)

The end result of this- not a stinking thing cause a 663 score will not qualify me for a single cc or store card other than the usual sub-prime garbage. now I am gonna go stick my head in the toliet and weep. My only negative is a settled cc with a last status of 09/1997.
