Today I received a refund check from NCo Financial Systems.
I mentioned in previous posts that I am disputing two Capital One accounts that I had been paying through Genus Credit Management. I made payments to Genus, they sent the payments to NCO for the Capital One accounts. Anyway just find it strange to get a refund check, when Capital One is saying I still owe $1600 and $1583 on two accounts!
Wonder what to make of this?

refund check? I bet there was a contract or an agreement on it. if you cash it you will owe it plus the other debt basically reaging the old debt plus owing more.

Cashing a refund doesn't obligate the consumer to anything unless the check has a conditional endorsement statement printed on its backside.
