What's up with this from MBNA?

    I just had a card not renew. It hasn't hit my report as closed by creditor yet. I expect my score will drop, though. I'll let you know by how much when it hits.

    I had zero bal on acct since summer but had major dispute with them prior to that and I see this as punitive. They said they pulled Equifax. The day I got the letter I checked my EQ and I had a 747 FICO and everything looked good. They quoted the four reason codes my score isn't higher. Doesn't matter that it was high to begin with, FICO always gives 4 even to top tier people. I don't want to do business with them anyway after how they treated me last year so I'm glad it's closed but I should have done it myself long ago. Ironically, I received my final statement this week and it included a readout of all the interest they earned (I paid) on my account in 2001. $170. Guess it's just not enough, LOL.

    Why should your score take a hit for something like this.?
