I just got denials for Citi Gold and Chase Platnum because a paid charge off showing up on credit report. The charge off w/for a 1st Consumers Credit card and it has a last activity date of 01/2000. Its not due to come off till 2007. Both of the reps from these two cards told me to wait till it comes off my report. I cant get a credit card till 2007? Have any of you had any luck in similar situation? If so, which cards pull TU and will be approved with a credit score of 733 (dont know what it is now that the two hards showing up for citi and chase)? I dont have any other derogs - do have 3 other positive tradelines.
