After some thumb drilling from a SR analyst, mbna approved me for the EBAY visa, only $5000 because i have a quantum worldpoints with high limit already, but if i hadn't called, i would have been pushed to providian. Moral: CALL and talk to a sr analyst about the ebay visa app a week or so after before they throw you to the dogs. brings my mbna limits to $17300 total and hopefully room for increases in the future. now i really gotta stop applying.

with amex and mbna YOU WANT TO CALL THEM. You want to get a analyst to approve your app, otherwise the rules of the system (strict) will flush you in the toilet quick. seriously. They might call you, but then again the computer which makes the first decision to pass you to providian might just do that. Be proactive with amex and mbna.
