When a diputed account is verified, shouldn't the verified date be the same as the last reported date?
I have an account that vas supposedly "verified" on 1/2002, but the last reported date is 7/1997. Wouldn't a creditor's verification also lead to a reporting of the said debt?

Personally, I wouldn't raise an issue with it. I called TU on this once before and I was told the creditor decides whether or not the verified date changes or stays the same. If you have it changed to 1/02, it may lower your score.
