My wife wanted to know earlier, do banks call to verify your info by telephone when you first applying on line. I thank those who answered. I have a relative who has a 680+ fico who is in the process of moving and wants to use our addy. Do you know if Chase, Citi, Amex, Next Card, First National of Omaha, Wachovia, B of A, Juniper, MBNA, Wells Fargo, Fleet First USA, Discover do any call backs to verify any info after you apply over the phone with them? RE: When App. By Phone,Any Cal Who cares? If they do call, tell them that so and so isn't home and take a message. They'll probably give a number for your relative to call back. When he/she calles back, make sure they call back from YOUR house and not some other number (companies have caller ID and it helps if you are calling back from the number that he/she listed on the application).
