When does TU do their batch processing. I saw someone say mondays but it seems they do it on another day also.
I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I think they did one yesterday. I pulled my credit report on TU yesterday morning....no change. I pulled it again yesterday afternoon and there was a HUGE change! A disputed item was gone, my address was FINALLY corrected and I had a 25 point jump. This all occured in about a 3 hour time difference. Not sure if it was because of the DAY (Thursday)or the DATE (the 8th) though. Either way, it seemed they updated something on that day. Hope that helps! mysti_summer EX - 682 EQ - 666 TU - 730 eLoan - 669
We had some TU bumpage overnight too. TU puzzles me though. In June I was on the phone with a rep while she was making changes and processing requests for new reports. Within a 5 minute time frame she had generated 3 new reports. All of the consumer disclosure inqs showed up immediately as did the changes she made and their resulting impact on the score. This had led me to believe that TU was real time. I have noticed something else though, it seems whenever we have an active dispute, there is no score change at all (regardless of the change in the report) as long as the dispute is still open. Once the dispute is completed, the score moves normally again. FWIW DemPooches
I have a ton of worthknowing and stuffies hit but nothing was affected if you know what I mean since like 4 days ago.
From what a CSR told me, that when you are disputing your CR with them, it is frozen and they can only see you report from the day you filed your dispute. They can tell you how items will be updated once the dispute is over, but they cannot "see" your current report. which of course to me does not make sense.
This makes me think of this ISP I used to be on. It had a program that counted EVERYONE's hard drive usage on their system, and billed them for their disk usage if they were over quota. The software took a long time to run, and they only ran one instance of it despite have 30,000 users. They kicked it off on Monday, and it didn't finish calculations for all users untill 4-5 days later. It would be re-run the next Monday.... Maybe they use something real slow like that, unless someone specifically tells it to update a given account.
