When is a "recent late payment" not RECENT anymore?

I had some 30 day late pymts on my car loan in early '09, but that's the only thing that's been late in years. My reports say I have a "recent late item" that is negatively affecting my scores, so I'm sure that it's from the car loan. Question is, when are they no longer considered "recent" by the CRAs? Last late was Feb 09 (car paid off in March or April).

    Thanks in advance!

After a year or two the 30 day lates shouldn't be as big of a deal.
