Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on a charge off of mine. Experian says this account will continue on record until 5/2002, so it looks like it's coming off soon. They also give the folowing: Date opened: 5/95 Reported Since: 3/1998 Date of Status: 3/1998 Last Reported: 2/1999 Chargeoff as of 3/1998 to 2/1999 __________________________________________________ Equifax says: the DOLA is 2/98. Date opened: 5/1995 Date of Last Activity: 2/1998 Date Reported: 1/2002 __________________________________________________ The account is not reported on TU. So, it looks as if experian will remove it in three months, but what can I expect from Equifax? Any thoughts?
It looks like Experian screwed up but in your favor. The EQ tradeline should be around through 2/2005 (unless you get it deleted before then!!)
