Anyone know how long it takes Lex to send out first round of disputes--a week, a month? They received my CR's last Monday and I'm anxious to get started! Also, I'm trying to rebuild, should I apply for a secured card? I was turned down for Capital One online recently.
I'm not practicing what I preach, but Lexington advises not to apply for credit while they are doing their thing. It took them about a week from when they received my reports to send out the first disputes. They sent the disputes about three or four days before I got the email messages telling me they had done so. Good luck!
I sent out my disputes roughly 10 days ago, I live in Nj, disputes went to UT and I received emails this past thursday saying my disputes had been sent! Good luck!
