I would dispute the debts with the CRA's first. It is probably listed several times because the debts have been sold from one agency to another, the old agency listed it, sold it, now the new agency relists it and the old doesn't remove it out of negligence.

The date reported should be the date of last activity - usually the date of last payment or charge off - collection agencies will almost always try to report a new date and you have to fight at both the CRA level and collection agency level.

Dispute with the CRA's and send validation letters.

i have been using junum since 04/01 and they have gotten 33 items total removed and my bk of expirian. still on tu and equifax.. basically does there come a point when you should send the validation letter? or am i better off just letting junum do their thang??

I used them a few months and personally know of others who did as well with NOTHING removed. If you've had 33 items removed you are having great success with them. As far as why it's coming off one report and not the others, I would contact Junum about this. They are obviously doing something.

What's junum? How much does it cost?

Be careful doing things on your own while using Junum - I don't know if their terms have changed but when I was enrolled they specified something to the effect that they would charge for ALL DELETIONS including those you may have obtained on your own.

The great benefit of this for creditors is this creates a false credit report and a fake FICO Score that they use as a means to overcharge folks.
