    Hey Guys/Gals,

I am so bummed out because I can't get out of sub-prime hell no matter what I do! I'm stuck in the low to mid 600's forever. I gain a few points here and there, then I lose them again for no apparent reason. I've tried paying down my balances, getting higher limits, and waiting for time to pass and heal all wounds. Nothing happens. Nada. Zero. Zip. What gives? There has to be some unseen factor at play here. Geographic area? Gender? It makes no sense.

I'll be a gray-haired bag of bones by the time I can finance a decent rocking chair!

How long have your scores stayed the same or almost the same?

Eight months, no score change!!! I've manipulated every KNOWN variable re: FICO. I think they have my *old* file hidden and are still basing the scores on the old file. Yes, I sound paranoid, I know! But something is just not right.

I was 688--->686--->711--->686--->704...all for NO specific reasons...

686 before the 704 was for like 2 months...(I think).

I'm waiting to see what happens after I get all the negs off.

    FWIW on CreditExpert:

    On Jul 14 - 652 with 4 negs and 2 inq.
On Jul 20 - the same.
On Jul 22 - 619 with 6 negs (CA in val added the
same acct twice) and 2 inq.

By the end of the month, or a little longer depending on when the agreed upon deletes take effect, all the negs should be off. Then we'll see what the numbers are.

Sometimes you won't see a significant change in your score until the last negative is removed.
