Where can I get a FTC opinion?

Does anyone know where I can go online to ask a question to someone at the FTC about judgments from a corporation that appear on my credit report?

TU supervisor told me yesterday to fax her a copy of the articles of incorporation. She said once she received them, she would remove the judgments that were filed after the corporation was created. This totals 7 judgments.

Experian on the other hand says they will not accept that type of document to remove a judgment. He says that all three CRA's have different rules and their rules say no.

    What do you think?

The FTC stopped issuing Staff Opinion Letters at least 3 years ago.

The Corporation has one legal name, and you have another. Unless the Cosporaoion's name is "Yourname, Inc." I don't see how on Earth this confusion could happen.

Nevertheless, you are an individual, not a corpotration, and if the CRA's can't understand the difference then i would say to them "I'll let a Judge explain the difference to you" and I would sue the CRA for negligent defamation of character and libel for deliberately and knowingly posting someone else's (the corporation) derogatory information to your credit file, causing you all sorts of financial and emotional damage.

It is a basic principle of law that a Corporation is a seprate legal person from its incorporators and stockholders. How many stockholders of Exxon got sued because the Exxon Valdez spilled all that oil? Not one. Same principle.

I think Experian needs to be sued.
