    Where can I get a free credit report online?
    If I don't get one online how else can I get one, maybe in the mail?

    I don't know one for Equifax though...

    You can also get free reports through the mail from each of the major 3 CRA's if you've been denied credit recently.

    Regarding the "denied credit" issue, you can get your report ONLINE at Experian if you've been denied recently. Actually, even if you've been APPROVED, you can get it free. As long as SOMEONE has pulled your report (potential creditor pulling a report for the purpose of review for credit extension, not the freebie stuff) recently, you'll get it for free (they check the date on the last real inquiry).
