I know this is a general question, but i have been reading the information on all the sites and reading the post here. My head is spinning. I have 4 credit cards that where charged off in 3/99. 3 of these accounts where purchased by other companies but the OC is still showing on my credit report with the full balance. The companies that purchased the accounts are also showing up on my credit reports with the full balance, so it looks like I have all these high balances, but I do not. I just settled 1 account because they had a judgement against me. Is there a way to get the judgement removed from my report? What is the first step. Should I try and get all these accounts validated (the OC and current owner of the accounts) or should I start disputing them with the credit b. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim
