Well here I go â?? Iâ??ve read this board for awhile got some good information But honestly feel a bit overwhelmed I have 4 Credit Cards 1 Unsecured Loan Credit Cards include Capital One Business 2500.00 Capital One Gold 1700.00 Amex Business 3500.00 Amex Personal 2300.00 First USA 6000.00 Unsecured Loan is $5,000 with no interest. This was an agreement we made with the second mortgage company because we were selling our home due to a divorce and my job loss. I moved out on my own. I was running a company with a partner in the long the partner ripped me off of $10,000 and contracts that had to be completed due to legal obligations. I had no money to hire an attorney and I was surviving on what I could make freelancing. Got very behind on everything but tried my best to do what I could and still keep a roof over my house and a car to drive. Some of these accounts were 180 past due â?? so collection agencies were involved at least with Amex. Capital One tried to work with me but I couldnâ??t make the payments without a steady income. I contacted a debt management program and got a full-time job but only make 32,000 per year. The reason I contacted the DMP was because I couldnâ??t handle the calls anymore and I knew my credit was ruined. I couldnâ??t even move to a cheaper apartment because my credit FICO score is 540. When a year ago it was above 700. My monthly obligations include $460 to DMP program $500 to Toyota for my Car $1010 for Rent for my townhouse $120 Car Insurance $50 Student Loan $270 for Utilities As you can see Iâ??m strapped and only making it because a friend is helping me out. Iâ??m picking up side projects when I can. Usually averaging 500 per month on those. I donâ??t even know why Iâ??m typing this perhaps trying to figure out ways to dwindle the debt down and move forward with my life. Daily Iâ??m brought to tears, I come from making 70k per year living in a 3000 sq ft house and now Iâ??m wondering how I got here. I just started with the DMP so I am still dealing with NationWide contacting me and harassing me. If Iâ??m paying something can they still take me to court? How does that work? What are my right regarding them calling 2 sometimes 3 times daily?
