ok, Ive found the registered agent for the CA Im about to sue (thanks LKH) however, Im not wondering where to file suit? Can I do it in my county? The place I need to sue is in Florida. Would sure hate to fly there just to file a $4000.00 suit. thoughts?
make that 'im wondering where to file suit'. i read somewhere that there is precendce and/or a laws stating that you can file suit in your county..but I cannot seem to find this. I've always lived in the same county btw.
yes, you can file in your own county small claims court... it doesn't matter where the company is located because the actions you are suing for took place in your county!
