Where is a good place to pull reports/scores from. Is there any 3 in 1's that are good or, should I only trust the one's from the agency themselves. I hear many of the 3 in 1's are "estimates" Any advice would be great!!

Privacyguard is a 3 in 1 and the score is their own proprietary score. The only true Fico score is on Equifax.com and The 12.95 report from Transunion.com. Experisux does not have a credit score that is of any use for you. I judge my score with them as sux real bad or sux real good with scores in between.

Well LB, there are a lot of companies out there from whom we seek credit from that do.

The reason I asked is because I got a 3 in 1 from ConsumerInfo.com a couple of weeks ago, and it was 60 points off from my TU 30 frm EQ and 25 from EX. I sort of think I paid $39.95 for a nothing.

Exactly why we can't trust scoring.

So basically what they are doing is just letting it sit on the CR's to ruin his credit. I asked the CA why we had never gotten a bill and she said "we are so busy that sometimes we choose to not collect on some accounts. We report them and leave it at that." Covert credit trashing for bogus accounts is what I call it.

Another illustration ow why you can't trust scores.

That's right, LB...no one can trust any companies. Hell, while we're at it, we might as well forget about trusting any individuals either, since most work for some kind of company.

Well we haven't seen a whole lot of evidence here on the board where they're doing to much in the way of building the faith, now have we?

    Lucky,

Read my thread Eperian UGH! from today. I have finally come to the conclusion that credit scores are pretty much worthless (I know there are others who may disagree). What counts is what is on your CR. Pull the reports, but not the scores and just work on getting the negs deleted. It should have the desired affects on your scores anyway and apparantly everyone from auto fI to mortgage companies have a different way of scoring and it's impossible to predict what they will score you at in a given situation. In any event it's not likely to be the same as the score you get anyway.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it!

Yeah, LB, and you don't find a lot of honest people in prison either, but that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of honest people out there. You sure do like to paint with awfully broad strokes.

I just got this report last night...I even paid extra for it to include all 3 scores...so these arent real scores??? Even though it says it is from the relevant CRA?????

Im going to have to compare it to the current reports I have for each of the three.

The money would probably be better spent purchasing the individual reports with FICO score from EQU & TU. Even at $12.95/ea its still less than the price of the 3 in 1.

And if you really want to see what your EXP score and report looks like, sign up for CreditExpert for the free 30 day trial then cancel before the time is up.

    Good luck!
