You can see my scores below. I think they pull TU for my area. I have one neg from 1997 that was paid. What are my chances for their card? and which card should I try for? The Gold, Plat. or?

a friend of mine just applied and was approved for a gold. His TU score was 683 and the CL was $3000. He has high balances on a couple cards and $0 on the rest and 6 or 7 inquiries. Also has an unpaid medical collection from 97.
Why not try for the Platinum? I originally applied for the Platinum card, but was given the Gold card instead. If you don't qualify for the Platinum, they will consider you for the Gold. BTW, I was able to upgrade to the Platinum card after 6 months, but with a hard inquiry. Good luck to you!!

Marty's girl, didn't you just get approved for a mortgage loan?? You may want to hold off with applying until you gets your keys??
Hi Bailey Yes... and No..lol! My husband just got approved. This is why I'm not worried about applying using my credit.
