Hi Board - I am going to Vancouver, BC, this Friday for 4 days. Staying at the Pan Pacific on top of Canada CTR.... it looks quite nice. Here is the same question I asked for Australia some months back.... do I charge the Canadian expenses to my AMEX or MC? That question again about currency conversion... While you're reading this, does anybody have any tourist recommendations for the Dogman's Canadian trek? Thanks - Dogman
I always use MC or VISA, they do the exchange automatically, and I have never had a problem. Of course I don't have AMEX... I have only been to Ontario, but Toronto is great if you come to the East Coast!
I would agree with Visa or Mastercard also. I LOVE Canada! I've been to Ottawa (beautiful city!) several times, and I've been to Montreal twice this year. Haven't made it to Vancover yet...but I'm sure it's nice!
