    I had

    410 on 03/02 exp ...now 590
    433 on 03/02 eqf.....now 650
    428 on 03/02 TU .....now 585

    I have cap1 ..2 of them.

    ahossen,

Wow, that's an impressive jump in scores. An average boost of 185 points in just 3 months! Glad I was able to have helped you out as much as I did. :)

The EX and TU scores still could use some tuning up, however, the EQ score puts you at the front door step of prime cards.

You may want to try for a Citibank card. But before you do, be sure and find out who Citi pulls in your area. Make sure it's EQ. And you'll be applying for the Citi AAsilver or AAGold, not platinum or WorldCard. Once you're approved you can convert the silver or gold card to the AA platinum.

    mindcrime,

thanks for the note. Dude, Exp is not deleting my 4 negetive item and which 3 was AU and 1 was paid. Other bureau already did delete all of those 4 items.

citibank... i had a charged off with them and was never paid. but it is not in my report and it is almost 7 years now. so, i guess i cant apply with them.

    thanks

    ahossen,

One option you could try is use the update from EQ or TU showing that the items are now deleted, black out any information you don't want EX to see, and send along this section of the FCRA with it:

    § 611. Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [15 U.S.C. § 1681i]

    (D) Automated reinvestigation system. Any consumer reporting agency that compiles and maintains files on consumers on a nationwide basis shall implement an automated system through which furnishers of information to that consumer reporting agency may report the results of a reinvestigation that finds incomplete or inaccurate information in a consumer's file to other such consumer reporting agencies.

What this basically means is the CRA's(EX, EQ,TU) need to have a system in place where a furnisher of information (such as Capital One) can report the findings of an investigation not only to the CRA that initially contacted them, but all three CRA's. So, setting this to your situation, those 4 negatives that TU and EQ have already deleted, that information (that they've been deleted) should also be reported to EX, and EX should now, also delete.

Here's the link to the complete section of 611:
