Hello board, a family member is going to put me on as a "joint" account holder on a new cc. My aunt currently holds a Fleet, Providian and First U.S.A. card. She has "golden goose" credit but her husband is the secondary on all three, so she is going to apply for a new card with me as the secondary. Also, I just finished major disputes with two of the aforementioned cards and I prefer not to affiliate with them for the time being. My question is, what card do you recommend that offers great limits and terms and is not one of the mentioned banks?

    Thanks

    Hi Ivan,

Chase, American Express, and Citibank are all good cards. Discover is decent, but you can't carry a balance because of the two cycle billing. Juniper and Nextcard are also good. The best thing is to read up on each card and pick the one that would work best for you. Good luck.
